You are more than the sum of your parts. 70% of your total mass is water; 70% of your living cells aren’t even human, they’re bacteria.
You are pondwater and jello, and yet you are aware and capable, because you are connected to every other living thing, part of the pulsing energy, the collective soul. Your pain is my pain and your joy is my joy because we are the same. Being unkind to another is like drinking poison and expecting the other to be ill.
We must embody kindness and communalism because we are not individuals. We need to rise above these petty selves, these petty problems. We are so absorbed in materialism; we are reactive. We promote negativity and harbor ill will and bitterness. We are so trapped inside of own minds.
We must transcend the ego and see that acquisition is a sickness and that it is not that “we are all equal”, it is that “we are the same”.
